Live water levels, built for a glance.
Lake Display makes small connected devices that show current lake, river, and reservoir conditions from public data sources.
Why it exists
Water data is useful only when people can see it without opening a laptop, digging through dashboards, or remembering which agency page has the right gauge. The display is meant to sit quietly in a cabin, office, dock shop, or lake house and make the current condition obvious from across the room.
Reliable
Public water data can be delayed, missing, renamed, or stale. The device treats status states as part of the product, not an afterthought.
Configurable
Each display can be pointed at a target CWMS Data API endpoint, office, time series, unit, and timezone through its setup interface.
Glanceable
The goal is a number that feels calm and readable in ordinary life, with timestamps close enough to tell whether the reading can be trusted.
